The CNMI CDBG-DR Program is focused on meeting the unmet need of the CNMI following the presidentially declared disasters of Typhoon Yutu (DR 4404) and Typhoon Mangkhut (DR 4386). The Economic Development Program will be essential for the success of the housing recovery efforts as they provide opportunities needed to ensure the financial independence of homeowners/leaseholders and renters for the care and maintenance of their homes.  The CNMI will invest funding into programs and projects to revitalize the economy through two main areas: (1) Tourism Marketing/Promotional Activities and (2) Workforce Development.
