The CNMI CDBG-DR Program is focused on meeting the unmet need of the CNMI following the presidentially declared disasters of Typhoon Yutu (DR 4404) and Typhoon Mangkhut (DR 4386). The Housing Recovery Program aims to support homeowners and tenants of rental properties in building a more resilient home to strengthen the housing stock of the CNMI. “The CNMI CDBG-DR housing program consists of the following programs: (1) Homeowner Rehabilitation & Reconstruction, (2) Single Family New Construction Development, (3) First-Time Homebuyer Program, and (4) Affordable Rental Housing Development.”
